Georgia's poems

The smelly bat from Hong Kong

There once was a bat from Hong Kong,
All the while he hoped he didn’t pong,
So he had a bath,
And had a good laugh,
That smelly bat from Hong Kong.

The playground

As the children clash and clang,
Everyone makes a big bang,
Ching, chang goes the school gate,
Zoom, hurry we might be late!!

The highwayman

The highwayman was stunned by Bess’s beautiful face,
He sat up tall, but did not fall,
As his steed galloped with grace.

Over the cobbles he clattered,
He made a noise did he,
All the windows were shattered,
All he saw was she.

  3. Your playground poem is really good Georgia. Impressive that you made it rhyme as well. Your limerick was very funny as well.
Do you think you could add any similes or metaphors to your ballad?
